All Ireland Challenge

DEBRA Ireland are delighted to be the official charity partner of the All Ireland Challenge which takes place in Westport.

This unique event brings together top Irish businesses to compete in the most advanced and diverse corporate team development in the world. Competitors will be challenged on their communication skills, team behavior, and decision making through a series of tasks such as mountain biking, kayaking, and code breaking. A mind blowing mix of adrenaline and team spirit, this multi-sport Challenge will change your perceptions of teamwork forever.

Teams are made up of four (male, female, or mixed) with the recommended option of bringing a substitute. You don’t need to be a marathon runner to take part – this is a challenge designed for business people, but given that you will be stretching your legs somewhat more than you would be sitting behind your desk, most teams organise to train together and get the most out of the challenge.

Once you sign up, DEBRA Ireland will provide you with a fundraising pack and free training guide. To further motivate you, an All Star Sports team will also be competing in the All Ireland Challenge – this team will include Dublin footballer Conal Keaney, soccer legend John Aldridge and ladies football star, Cora Staunton. This nationwide event will also be made into a TV documentary for screening so you can see your team in action for the benefit or amusement of your colleagues and friends!
