As EB is a rare condition, it is quite likely that many GPs will never come across it and even some
dermatologists will see relatively few patients with the condition. To ensure that patients receive
the best care, an EB specialist medical multi-disciplinary team has been developed. This ensures
that patients will be treated by professionals with experience and up to date training and knowledge.
